Service Description:

Provides high school credits obtained in life skills, academic classes and cooperative education * academic classes are taken on an independent study basis * students have the opportunity to take compulsory courses and can complete all credits required for their Ontario Secondary School Diploma
This is the only site that has an under-16 program which allows students to complete some of the course requirements for their grade 9 year

Eligibility / Target Population:
|
Students who reside within the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board's jurisdiction, having difficulties with the regular curriculum and require an educational experience outside of regular high school.
Students 16 years and over may attend if: * they are now in school but are not benefiting from their programs * they have dropped out of school and wish to return * they left school to work and wish to return to complete diploma requirements * they desire on-the-job experience to obtain future full-time employment or start an apprenticeship * they want a friendly and personalized approach to learning
