Service Description:
|
Follows the guidelines of the Headstart program for pre-school children * promotes development in areas including language acquisition, problem-solving skills, school readiness, self-regulation, socialization, healthy physical and cognitive development and greater self-esteem through first-hand experiences and opportunities which promote active learning * speech/language pathologist consultation, assessment and referral * two nutritious and hearty meals and snacks to which dietary restrictions/allergies are adhered to

Set fees * Each licensed Headstart program has full or partial subsidies for families who qualify. Parents may apply for a subsidy through the City of Ottawa Childcare Registry and Waitlist. For help applying for a subsidy, please call or stop by a Headstart
