Service Description: Private or non-profit residences that provide long term housing to vulnerable adults * residents are typically living with a psychiatric, developmental or physical illness and or disability * the City of Ottawa provides financial assistance for low income residents to subsidize the cost of their board and lodging in a residence

Furnished rooms (most are shared) * meals and minimal supervision are provided * medication management * housekeeping and personal laundry * referral by individuals, hospitals, shelters, family members

Application: Visit Residential Services Homes | City of Ottawa to print a copy of the application form or call #311 to apply * part 2 of the application form must be completed by a health care professional * for a complete list of domiciliary hostels, visit the website and virtual tours
Eligibility / Target Population: Eligibility is based on an admission assessment and a financial assessment
