Service Description: Individual and group counselling, education, support for children who have witnessed woman abuse

Children’s Group: Provides a safe place where children can heal from their experience and have the opportunity to connect with other children who may share similar experiences. Under the direction of two experienced facilitators, the children will explore their individual strengths, learn about safe/unsafe behaviours and relationships and better understand their feelings and thoughts

While the children participate in the group, there is a separate mothers' group that meets for education, support, problem solving and sharing of information and resources that relate to their children. Groups are offered once a week for 12 weeks * Subsidies are available for travel and child care services
