Service Description:
|
Ontario government officially designated health and safety training centre * provides essential training to workers, their representatives, supervisors, and employers, in public and private sector workplaces across the province * delivery options include, in-person or online virtual classrooms, both publicly scheduled and according to client’s timetable
Hazard-Based Approach: hazard-based training gives workplace representatives the skills to proactively identify, assess and control or eliminate hazardous working conditions that cause worker injury, illness and death * a range of up-to-date, hazard-specific and industry-specific training products covering such issues as WHMIS, ergonomics, working at heights, confined spaces, workplace stress, indoor air quality, workplace violence and harassment and powered lift trucks * works with individual workplaces to develop customized training materials on a fee-for-service basis
