The Cornwall Hospital Community Addiction and Mental Health Services will be relocating
You may have heard that the Cornwall Hospital Community Addiction and Mental Health Services will be relocating. We are excited about our upcoming move, now only 2 weeks away! Our official move occurs during the week of October 17th.
Currently, our services are offered from many locations throughout Cornwall which can be confusing. The new Community Addiction and Mental Health Centre is located at 850 McConnell Avenue. The Centre is on Cornwall Hospital property (north of the main building across from the Emergency Department entrance). Paid visitor parking is available near the building.
Our services remain unchanged in terms of mandate however; the new location will better enable our teams to work together for the benefit of our clients and partners. Our services will be more accessible in a common location that will become known in our community.
It is an opportune time to update the names of our services and these changes are noted below. The following is a list of our services that will be located at the new Centre:- Adult Mental Health Services (formally known as Adult Counselling and Treatment Services – ACTS)
- Geriatric Mental Health Services (formally known as Psycho-geriatric Services)
- Addiction Services (formally known as Addiction Services of Eastern Ontario)
- Community Withdrawal Management Services (formally known as the Detox Center)
- Assertive Community Treatment Services and First Episode Psychosis
- Mental Health Crisis Team
- Child and Youth Mental Health Services (formally known as Child and Youth Counselling Services)
- Peer Support Services
The new phone number is: 613-361-6363 and we can also be accessed via our toll free line at 1-844-361-6363. Our current phone numbers will be forwarded for some time to our new number to ensure that our clients and partners will have time to adapt to the changes. Updates will be posted on our website www.cornwallhospital.ca.
