Lung Health Network
The Champlain Lung Health Network was established in 2006. Lung health champions from community and tertiary care centres meet quarterly to:
- Increase public awareness of lung health issues
- Act as an advisory group to the Champlain LHIN to help identify gaps, barriers and successes in lung health services
- Mobilize and strengthen existing resources and identify future collaborations.
Some highlights of the Champlain Lung Health Network:
- Breathing Easier Guide revised in 2014. This guide outlines lung health services available for residents and health care providers in the Champlain LHIN
- Common referral form for LHIN-funded community-based pulmonary rehab program
- Finalizing a lung health toolkit that will be available on the Champlainhealthline
