Programs Description
Senior Chair Exercises Stretching and gentle body movement activities (drop in).
Exercise Classes for Seniors 30 min exercise classes for seniors
SMART Recovery Support for adults 50+ who want to change an addictive behaviour; 4-point program to change emotions and self-defeating behaviour; drop-in weekly.
Stop Smoking Drop-in Drop in program to meet people for support and info on quitting, reducing, or staying smoke-free
Yoga for Everyone All levels, beginners welcome
Physical Activity Library Urban-walking poles, pedometers, yoga mats, videos, and books available for loan for up to 2 weeks.
Nutrition Counselling Talk about nutrition issues like food budgeting, body image, weight management.
Healthy You - Cooking Series: Cut Cholesterol Learn recipes to help get or keep cholesterol levels in check.
Community Diabetes Education Program Nursing and dietician support to help adults living with pre-diabetes or Type 2 diabetes.
Coping with Stress An intro to short meditation, mindfulness and relaxation tools. Helps quiet the mind and bring balance. 4 week program.
Social Support Walk-in When urgent personal or social problems happen, our counsellors can provide you with support. Drop in.
Dundonald Park Programs Come hang out in Dundonald! Lots of fun activities, like tai chi, arts & crafts and gardening, organized by community groups and community members. Remember, you can organize something too.
Medical Clinic Walk-in As a service to Centretown Community Health Centre clients we offer a walk-in clinic Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. If you need to see your doctor or nurse practitioner and they are either not working that day or unable to schedule an appointment you may use the Walk-In Service. You will be seen on a first come first served basis by the nurse practitioner or doctor staffing the walk-in clinic that day. /td>
