Service Description: Collects and resells donated goods to underprivileged and financially challenged people with life's necessities at affordable costs
  • Free relief service with no demands made to individuals in distress through disaster or extreme financial difficulty * these necessities are provided free, based on the need (closely monitored) with written referral from any social services agency, government or private

Accepts donations of the following items: clothing (bagged) * shoes * linen * tools * toys (not broken) * housewares * kitchenware (small appliances in working condition) * knick knacks * small furniture (no heavy cabinets or beds) * upholstered furniture and beds – no rips or stains

Fees: Service - $45 delivery fee (2018)
Application: Some assistance with used clothing, footwear, furniture and appliances will be provided free, based on the need (closely monitored) with written referral from social assistance, mother's allowance, Children's Aid Society, Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA), Ottawa Housing and other social agencies. * Assistance provided to fire victims with written referral from the fire department or any social services agency.
