Service Description:
|
Screening program seeks to identify newborns at risk of a serious liver disease called biliary atresia using an infant stool colour card which is given to all parents of newborn infants to help them identify pale stool and instruct them about how to notify Newborn Screening Ontario for assessment and possible referral for further investigations
This service is provided to all babies born in Ontario in the first month of life
