Service Description: Labour, delivery and immediate recovery care provided in private birthing rooms, complete with hydrotherapy bathtubs and pain management options * Mother and Baby care provided together in mother's room * Level 2 special care nursery * home-like lounge for early stages of labour * Maternity Assessment Clinic providing pre-admission services, health care consultations and diabetes education * Fetal Assessment Triage unit offering ultrasounds and non-stress testing * labour coaches welcomed * community outreach programs working with the Ottawa Public Health and other regional agencies

Team of professionals: obstetricians * paediatricians and family practitioners * midwives * anesthetists and radiologists * staff nurses, lactation consultants and educators * pharmacists, dietitians and social workers * respiratory therapists and physiotherapists * clerical and support staff

Fees: Set fees * Covered by the Ontario Health Card
