Service Description: Provides rapid access to diagnostic services, health assessment, diagnosis, treatment and risk factor management to those who have had a Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) or a mild non-disabling stroke * laboratory and diagnostic investigations completed on site

Fees: Covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan (OHIP)
Application: Patients require a referral made by a family physician, a medical specialist or through any of the Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry County Hospital Emergency Departments. Patients who are referred to the clinic will be contacted directly with an appointment. Certain tests will be completed prior to the initial clinic visit. At the visit, the patient will meet the nurse practitioner, who will perform an initial assessment and discuss risk factors.
