Certificates for Employment WHMIS, Safe Food Handler, First Aid/CPR
A partnership has been created between the Caldwell Family Centre & the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board to offer this unique program.
Program Dates:
October 10, 2017 to March 31, 2018
Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm
You will develop Reading and Writing Skills to:- Prepare for the following certificates for employment:
- WHMIS
- Safe Food Handler
- First Aid/CPR
- Learn about Customer Service in Retail, Hospitality, and Healthcare workplaces
- Understand workplace safety
- Discuss workers’ rights
- Participate in employment preparation
Eligibility:- Must be 19 years or older
- Listening and Speaking skills (CLB 5)
- Ontario Residents
- Must have less than a Grade 12 level of education (Canadian
equivalent)

Starts September 25th by appointment ONLY.
