Help shape the Patient Ombudsman’s office

My office will be opening soon and I look forward to working with you to ensure a positive experience in how you interact with my office. As you know, my office will help patients and their caregivers try to facilitate the resolution of complaints about a patient’s care or health care experience received at public hospitals, long-term care homes, and Community Care Access Centres (CCACs). My goal will be to try to resolve individual complaints, as well as to make recommendations to improve the patient experience in general.

As I work to implement my office, including the development of our vision, mission and values, I am gathering insights to help better understand what's important to you and what you expect of my office.
