Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care is looking for volunteers
Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care is looking for volunteers to assist families who are struggling with a life limiting disease.
Volunteers would:- Visit at home
- Provide companionship
- Offer support
- Help to pass time, read, play cards help organize mementos
- Assist with practical day to day needs
- Be there so a person is not alone
An extensive training program is pro-vided to equip you with the skills needed.
This is one way we can really help those in our community stay at home longer and live to their fullest capacity.
A 36 hour training course will begin September 24th one day per week for 5 weeks.
