The Royal Welcomes Its Incoming Board of Trustees
Ottawa, June 22, 2015 –The Royal hosted its Annual General Meeting on Thursday, June 18. The AGM was an opportunity to celebrate the past year of accomplishments and share some important insights regarding mental health care.
During The Royal’s AGM, the Board of Trustees confirmed Scott McLean as the Chair of the Board. Scott is a senior litigator at Dentons in the Ottawa Office. He is also a Contract Lecturer at Carleton University in Administrative and Public Law, and has for many years acted as a lecturer/presenter on legal issues for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Carleton County Law Association. Scott lives in Brockville, Ontario and has served on The Royal’s Board of Trustees since 2011.
Scott replaces Rob Notman, COO of Optimum Talent, an expert in executive human resources consulting who served as the Chair of The Royal’s Board of Trustees from 2012 to 2015. Rob has been involved with The Royal since 2003 and will continue to be an active member of the board in the position as past-chair.
The Royal thanks Rob Notman for his passionate leadership and dedication to achieving excellence in mental health care and research.
