Ontario Special Needs Strategy Information Session
Dear parents and caregivers,
The Government of Ontario has asked all agencies across the province that work with children and youth with special needs, especially those with complex and multiple needs, to improve the coordination and integration of their services. A large group of agencies in Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry has recently met to discuss what this means for our community. We are very excited about working together to make things better for children, youth and families of Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry. Our goal is to make the changes that are needed so families can more easily access information and services and navigate through the various services they receive.
To achieve our goal, we strongly believe that we need to hear directly from families about their experience with our services and about changes we should consider to make it easier for them. We are inviting you to an Information Session on December 3, 2014 at 6:30pm at the Ontario Early Years Centre 550 Ninth St E, Cornwall to learn about how you will be able to share both your experience and your suggestions with us. This information session will also be a good way to learn more about this project and what we want to achieve. There is no need to register for this information session. We do however ask that you inform other families who may be interested to attend the information session.
We hope to see many of you on December 3, 2014.
Sincerely,
Cathy Ashby Manager GIAG Child and Youth Programs 613-930-9211 X222 cashby@giag.ca
