Madawaska Valley Hospcie Palliative Care
Madawaska Valley Hospice Palliative Care is looking for volunteers to assist families who are struggling with a life limiting disease.
Volunteers would:
- Visit at home
- Provide companionship
- Offer support
- Help to pass time, read, play cards, help organize mementos
- Assist with practical day to day needs
- Be there so a person is not alone
A 32 hour training course will begin September 2nd for one day per week for 4 weeks.
An extensive training program is provided to equip you with the skills needed.
This is one way we can really help those in our community stay at home longer and live to their fullest capacity.
