Swimming or skating a healthy alternative to Halloween candy
Ottawa - If you are looking for something healthy and fun to give out at Halloween, just say “Trick or Swim or Skate.”
Just in time for Halloween, the City of Ottawa is offering discount tickets to a leisure swim or a public skate at any City pool or arena. The tickets, which are for children ages 3 to 15, are a bargain at $10 for 10 tickets. They can be purchased at City of Ottawa swimming pools while supplies last.
Residents can give trick or treaters access to healthy activities, while avoiding concerns over food allergies. Your ghosts and goblins will be able to redeem their tickets for their favourite activity between November 1 and January 13, 2013.
