New Location for Health Unit in Kemptville Opens April 22, 2010
The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit office in Kemptville is moving to a new location at 8 Asa Street, Unit 2(beside Pet Valu)
The Health Unit office on Concession Rd will be closed April 20th and 21st for the move. The office will reopen at the new location on Thursday, April 22nd at 8:30 am. Office hours will remain the same: Monday to Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm (Closed from 12:00pm – 1:00pm except on Tuesdays) Friday 8:30am – 3:30pm
Services being offered at the new Health Unit location are:
- Sexual Health Clinics – Tuesdays 11:00am – 4:30pm (No appointment needed) (Beginning April 27th) NOTE: The Sexual Health Clinic will be closed April 20th
- Immunization Clinics – Tuesdays 9:00am – 10:30am (Call 613-258-5941 for an appointment) (Beginning April 27th) NOTE: The Immunization Clinic will be closed April 20th
- Prenatal Classes – call 613-258-5941 for more information
- Well water testing sample drop off: Mondays – Thursdays only
- Baby Talk will continue to be held at The Ontario Early Years Centre at 215 Sanders Street in Kemptville. Wednesdays 1:30pm – 3:30pm (Baby Talk will go ahead as scheduled on April 21st)
- Language Express – Preschool Speech and Language Services. The Language Express telephone number will change from 613-258-6133 (ext. 193) to 613-258-5941.
