CCH launches Care-Mail!
Thursday, September 30, 2010 – Cornwall Community Hospital (CCH) is pleased to provide for you and your loved ones ‘Care Mail’, a free service which will allow you to stay in touch with your loved one during their hospital stay.
To access ‘Care Mail’ (send an email to a patient) simply login on to the CCH website at www.cornwallhospital.ca and click on the ‘Care Mail’ icon. This new feature is user-friendly. Fill out a form with your message and the patient's name and room number (if known). Once you submit your information a volunteer will receive and deliver the e-mail message in a sealed envelope within 24 hours of receiving it (weekdays only).
With flu season approaching ‘Care Mail’ is a great alternative to unnecessary visits to the hospital, while still allowing a patients family and friends to show their support to their loved one during their hospital stay.
