H1N1 Vaccination Clinics Open to All Leeds, Grenville and Lanark Residents this Thursday
The Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit is starting up a second round of H1N1 immunization clinics this Thursday and opening up the eligibility to all residents over the age of 6 months. “Any person, regardless of age or medical condition can get an H1N1 vaccination,” says Dr. Anne Carter, Medical Officer of Health for the tri-county area.
Clinics are opening in 10 different communities across Leeds, Grenville and Lanark this week and running until December 3rd. This process should eliminate the need for people to line up hours prior to the clinic opening. Health Unit staff will be at the clinic site handing out forms in advance of clinic opening. “We don’t expect that we will have to turn people away because of demand,” says Susan Healey, Communications Coordinator for the Health Unit.
