Pap Tests Save Lives!

According to the Canadian Cancer Society and Cancer Care Ontario, cervical cancer is the 10th most common form of cancer in Ontario among women, and the second most common in women under the age of 50.

Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the primary cause of cervical cancer and three of four people who have had sex have been exposed to HPV at some time. The good news is that cervical cancer can be almost entirely prevented with regular screening. Women of all ages who are, or have ever been, sexually active should be screened every one to three years.

Call your doctor or Nurse Practitioner to book your Pap test.
