Position:  Officer, Worker Safety Ins Board

Rotation/Shifts
Days, 8 hour shifts.

Basic Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Occupational Health, Business Administration or a related discipline;
  • 3-5 years of WSIB claims related experience required;
  • General knowledge of WSIB Act and WSIB Policy and Procedures including Early and Safe Return to Work and WSIB NEER Program and their implication in a Hospital setting;
  • Knowledge of WSIB software (i.e. Park lane);
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and keyboarding required;
  • Excellent decision making skills needed when determining course of action;
  • Above average oral and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational, time management and analytical skills required in order to meet crucial deadlines;
  • Must be able to work as part of a team;
  • Exercise discretion and tact in dealing with sensitive and/or confidential issues.



Salary:  $62,525.86 - $77,104.95 / hour

Terms of Employment:  Regular, full-time
