Service Description: Leaders are trained volunteers who offer information, peer-support groups and telephone counselling to breastfeeding women. Mothers do not need to be members to receive telephone help. Conferences for parents are held periodically. Health professional seminars are also offered.

Meeting: Informal discussion groups led by a trained La Leche League Leader * meetings monthly in various locations. Meetings are held in Ottawa and throughout the region including Manotick, Winchester, Arnprior and Aylmer.

Eligibility - Population(s) Served: Women who want to breastfeed their babies * all women interested in learning about breastfeeding * service is especially geared to new and expectant mothers * couples meetings available
