Service Description: Community-based, non-profit organization that offers a wide range of social and community services

Crisis Intervention and Support: intervention and support in critical situations until the situation is stabilized and a follow-up plan is in place, including elder abuse

Meals on Wheels: home delivery of diverse hot and frozen meals

Friendly Visiting: volunteers provide friendly companionship for several hours every week

Transportation: escorted transportation to and from essentials services

Telephone assurance: trained volunteers telephone seniors who are isolated or shut-in to verify their well-being and security

Grocery bus: transportation and accompaniment to the local grocery stores

Support for Caregivers: individual and/or group support, education and counselling to caregivers

Home Maintenance and Home Help: access to workers for housecleaning and maintenance

Respite Care: variety of tasks, from sitting and talking to providing reassurance to the clients

Foot Care: service in the client's home or through clinics

Diners Club/Fun and Fitness: nutritious meals and social activities and/or a fitness program in a group setting at a prearranged location * facilitate referrals and access to LunchAbility program

Going Home: home support services for 10 days to support the rehabilitation of a person returning from hospital

Day Program: integrated support service which provides supervised programming in a group setting for clients * programming includes therapeutic, social and recreational activities for seniors and respite for caregivers

Snow Go/Assist: access to reliable snow removal contractors * subsidies are available to qualifying participants upon assessments

Other Services: works collaboratively with other organizations and government programs to provide access to a range of services supporting older adults
Fees: Service - Some services have fees associated to them. ; Fee assistance available for eligible low-income seniors and people with disabilities.
